Weaubleau?Services for Mrs. Connie Quick, 68, Weaubleau, will be at
2 p.m. today in the Weaubleau Assembly of God Church with the Rev.
Nadine Fogle officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Zion Cemetery
at Quincy under the direction of Hathaway of Wheatland.
Mrs. Quick died at 1:45 p.m. Monday in St. John?s Regional Health
Center, Springfield, after a short illness.
She was a member of the Assembly of God Church, a member of the WPFA
Club, and a member of the WMC of Weaubleau.
She is survived by three sons, James and Walter, both of Grain Valley,
and Johnny, Weaubleau; one stepson, Eddie Quick, Kansas City; three
daughters, Mrs. Betty Jenkins, Grain Valley, Mrs. Ruby Ball, Blue
Springs, and Mrs. Melba Mendenhall, Pleasant Hope; one brother, Leonard
Miller, Red Oak, Iowa; one sister, Mrs. Ayliffe Fisher, Red Oak, Iowa;
23 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Weaubleau?Services for Oscar E. Quick, 72, Weaubleau, will be at 2 p.m.
Friday in the Weaubleau Assembly of God, with Nadine Fogle
officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery under the direction
of Hathaway of Wheatland.
Mr. Quick died Wednesday in the Independence Medical Center.
He was a retired farmer who lived in Hickory County 24 years. He had
been employed at Lake City in Kansas City for 15 years. He was a
member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Constance; four sons, Eddie, Kansas City,
James Ray Sloan and Walter, both of Grain Valley, and Johnny,
Weaubleau; five daughters, Mrs. Elise Thompson, Sedalia, Mrs. Wanda
Moorle, state of Iowa, Mrs. Betty Jinkin, Grain Valley, Mrs. Ruby Ball,
Blue Springs, and Mrs. Melba Mendenhall, Pleasant Hope; and two
brothers, Willard, Weaubleau, and Lester, Sedalia.
The family will be in the funeral home from 7:30 to 9:30 tonight.
