BEAN CEMETERY
St. Clair County, Missouri
Directions: From 13 Highway at Lowery City, go west on A Highway to
M Highway. Turn left on M, go 4 miles to County Road NW 500. Turn
right on 500, go .2 miles, turn left on CR NW 825 and go .2 miles.
The cemetery is on the left side of the road. On the day we visited,
it was half mowed, weeds taller than I am. We tried to make sure we
found all the stones in the weeds, but we may have missed some.
There were several graves marked by fieldstones only.
Photographed and transcribed by Jane Owens and Johnna Quick on
21 Sept 2004.
