Springfield, Greene County, MO
Directions: At intersection of Sunshine and West Bypass,
there is a small shopping center (old Walmart building)
that has a furniture store and a couple of little stores.
Go behind the building, and set off the side
of the parking lot is this small cemetery.

Of such is the kingdom of heaven
Several fieldstones.
Originally, this was the Kindred Rose property.
Kindred settled in this area as early as 1831,
and was a well-known pioneer in early Greene county.
There is no marker left for him or his wife,
if there ever was more than a fieldstone to begin with.
Both are buried here, as are a number of family members.
These are the only stones left to mark the cemetery.
