Mrs. Roy Curtis
Weaubleau-Funeral services for Mrs. Merle Curtis, 74, of
Weaubleau, will be at 2 PM Sunday in the Assembly of God Church here
with the Rev. Nadine Fogle officiating. Burial will be in the
Robinson Cemetery under the direction of Hathaway of Wheatland.
Mrs. Curtis died at 9:45 PM Thursday in the Big Springs Nursing
Home at Humansville. She had been a resident of Weaubleau for the
past 22 years and had lived in Hickory County for the past 43 years.
Survivors include her husband, Roy C.; two sons, Leroy of
Weaubleau, and Clarence of Flemington; two daughters, Mrs. Marie
Othick of Weaubleau, and Mrs. Rosella Miller of Humansville; a sister,
Mrs. Ada Norman of Weaubleau; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-
grandchildren.

Weaubleau ?Funeral services for Roy C. Curtis, 80, Weaubleau,
will be at 2 PM Monday in the Church of God here with Nadine Fogle
officiating. Burial will be in Robinson Cemetery near here, under
direction of Hathaway of Wheatland.
Mr. Curtis died at 3:35 AM Saturday in the Osceola Hospital after
a short illness.
A 24-year resident of Weaubleau, moving here from Kansas City, he
was a veteran of World War I.
Surviving are two sons, Leroy, Weaubleau, and Clarence,
Flemington; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Othick and Mrs. Rosella Miller,
both of Weaubleau; four brothers, Woodrow, state of California, Amos
and Everett, both of Spokane, Wash., and Maynard, Kansas City, Kan.;
five sisters, Mrs. Nina Rorkford and Mrs. Martha Dean, both of
Springfield, Mrs. Bessie Wolf, Amberg, Wis., Mrs. Anna Schyler,
Peoria, Ill., and Mrs. Hilda Davis, Kansas City, Kan.; 10
grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
